The mission for the redesign of the website was simple, get people to donate by sharing stories and showing the good works of the organization. We started by creating a best practices guide for rolling out content on the site on a routine basis. These stories, news items, and events were the main content of the homepage. A universal and emphasized call-to-action to donate was included. My role on the project was project management, best practice setup, design and development of a custom theme in WordPress.
